Dean and Ginny had been dating for a short while by the time the school year had concluded and it had bothered him that he had gotten such a short amount of time with her before they had had to part ways. Ronald, of course, had been grateful. He couldn't necessarily blame him, considering it was his sister and all, but Dean thought that he had been more than respectful of their boundaries.
Alas, the school year had ended. Ginny had gone back to the Burrow with Ron and Dean had returned home to the Estate. He had owled Ginny a number of times, but it was mid summer now and he thought it time they see each other again, lest the romance run dry. They had met at the Leaky Cauldron and then simply shopped along Diagon Alley, Dean buying her a few items under the guise of being her boyfriend and it was his duty to pay. Truly, he knew that she was less than well off and he had money burning holes in his pockets. It was something he kept to himself because, as he had learned at a young age, when people knew you had money, two things happened.
First, they treated you differently. Everyone wanted to be your friend. It wasn't what he wanted out of his life. Second, they asked where it came from. His mother was a gold digger. It wasn't a fabulous story to tell. His father had left at a young age and his mother had inherited his fortune, as well as the fortune of her husband before that and she would surely inherit the fortune of the man she was currently married to when they divorced or he disappeared as well.
After their date had finished, Dean had suggested that they visit his home. He didn't know when he would get the chance to show her if they didn't visit during the summer. He suggested that they go to the Burrow in July or August, so that he could meet her family as well. He knew quite a few of them from school, but it would be different to see them in the context of their home.
She had agreed to go visit with him and they had taken the Floo from the Leaky Cauldron to a public Floo nearby his home. He wanted to make sure she was able to see everything, and that included the grounds.
"I don't really tell anyone, but... Well, I come from money. So don't be too surprised, all right Gin?" He took her hand and led her from the Floo to the entrance to his home, large iron gates that opened as he entered with her. There was a great expanse of gardens in front of them and a long winding path leading to the... well... mansion.

"Okay..."
The date was nice. Their whole relationship was nice. There was no spark, but Ginny thought that wouldn't happen immediately. Dean was good to her. Sweet and respectful. She knew that at some point he was going to expect more than kissing and holding hands, but for now, she was perfectly comfortable with where they were. She wouldn't continue with the relationship if she didn't want it, so she knew it would happen sometime soon.
She shook her head free of those thoughts. Right now, she was overwhelmed by everything. Her growing affection for him even though they've only been dating for 3-4 months, his sweet nature, his love for taking her out on dates because she hated when people paid for her, and his money... his house was ENORMOUS. But he was sweet enough to be sheepish about it, and warn her before they went. Just as she didn't want people judging her and her family for what little money they had, she shouldn't judge him for how much money his family had. So she tried not to be embarrassed by her own house even though he's only ever seen it from the outside.
"It's beautiful," she said, feeling very self conscious.
